today we had another lab, this was simular to the one before, we had a pop bottle with a thermomater in it and a lamp over it, we checked the temp. every minute.
Can someone PLEASE explain the purpose of this lab?

Activity 1
For this project our class had to fill 3 bowls with dirt, water, and snow. We put thermomerters in the them, then put a lamp over them to keep track of their temparature. Every minute we recorded the temp. of the water, dirt, and snow. the water didn't change much, but the dirt and snow did. It was fun...I guess
